PHOTOBOOKS PART 9: A LASTING IMPRESSION
The last page is the closing chapter and final impact . . . so make it count!
End Page: The Last Impression
Sadly, we've come to the last page of the photobook and the last blog in this series.
After many long hours, pulling together your photobook, you're likely to be feeling a bit jaded so it's all the more important to dig deep and make sure you've got an image that closes the chapter and neatly ties up the book. It may be cliché, but something like a sunset is a perfect way to round off the last page. It's often handy to think about the photo for this page at the start when you are choosing images for the cover pages and first page because then you can ear-mark a photo and make sure you don't use it elsewhere in the book.
The Final Bit of Advice
Once you've got every page completed, go back and systematically check that everything is in place how you would like it. Cross-check your masks and frames, check the resolutions (there is a smiley face button to click which will reveal a scared, red face if the image is likely to be pixelated) and ensure you are happy with the balance and layout of each page.
Then all you need to do is press the order button and wait for a beautiful photobook to arrive in your letterbox.
And a little word of warning; once you start ….. you won’t want to stop!
